Dora Li, the founder of this site, fostered the idea during her sophomore year in high school. Her inspiration stemmed from the deep intellectual curiosity nurtured by her ninth-grade history mentor, Mr. M.

During one of the most crucial semesters of her high school journey, Dora faced complete breakdown when she underwent an overwhelming sense of hopelessness from all angles. It was at this pivotal moment that she reached out to her favourite tutor back in grade nine, spending two hours in his office shedding out all her tears. Mr. M, the sole person who raised her up when she felt utterly defeated and grounded, became her lifeline at the moment.

As soon as Dora regained her footing, she contemplated how she could pay forward the support she received, just as Mr. M had enlightened her during her darkest moments. Thus, she conceived a platform dedicated to sharing her knowledge and thoughts, and providing a channel for those seeking to be heard, akin to how she once needed.
